Tina and Alex’s Love Story

In this blog we take a look inside the beautiful love story of Tina and Alex. As work friends turned lifelong lovers, their relationship blossomed through an incredibly romantic 100-day game of trivia, with the final question being arguably the most important.
They were incredibly generous in sharing all the details of their proposal, love story and wedding with us!
Q. All great love stories have a beginning, so tell us yours! How did you meet?
A. How we got together is quite a fun story! We became friends at work and always had a good feeling about each other. I (Tina) knew Alex loved playing trivia. During the COVID lockdown when we all started working from home, I devised a plan to post a trivia question every morning on the company chat tool. Alex would then message back, answering each of the trivia questions. This gave us an opportunity to chat about something interesting every day.
On the 100th day of sending these trivia questions, I sent Alex a private multiple-choice trivia question that read: "What are the chances you'll go on a date with me?"
The options were “A) 100%, B) Certainly, C) Definitely, D) Highly likely”
To which Alex replied, "I don't see all of the above as an answer, so I will just have to lock in A and hope it's the right answer."
The rest is history!
Q. We're in the business of proposals, and never get tired of hearing your stories: tell us all about the moment you popped the question!
A. Alex popped the question under a beautifully lit tree at Captain Burke Park. The same place where we decided to pursue this relationship!
Q. It's been an honour to play a small part in your love story so far. What made you choose The Moissanite Company and how did you decide on your ring design?
A. After doing some research on diamonds, I (Tina) was adamant that Moissanite was the right choice ethically. We had heard about TMC from a family member and absolutely adored the service we got from Makayla and her team. They were with us every step of the way in crafting the most perfect ring. Q. You've chosen to spend the rest of your lives together, so what is it that you love most about each other & your relationship?
A. We are best friends above all else!
Q. While you might be still soaking in the proposal love bubble, have you made any plans for your wedding? We'd love to hear all about it!
A. We'll be holding our wedding in 2025!
